Xtract Mining Tech was founded by Callum McCracken and Thomas Boylson, two mining technology leaders with a proven track record in taking innovative ideas from start-up through to global scale. With over two decades of experience in the Mining Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) sector, Callum and Thomas have built a reputation for understanding both the complexity of mining operations and the challenge of bringing new technologies to market.

Our Experience

Callum was Co-Founder and Managing Director of Minnovare, where he led the company from inception through to international expansion. Over more than a decade, Minnovare grew from a Perth-based start-up into a global technology business operating across 150+ mining projects in 25+ countries, before being acquired by Hexagon in 2022.

Thomas served as Head of Global Sales, where he was responsible for building and leading an international sales team, managing key accounts, and driving growth across multiple regions. His efforts were instrumental in establishing Minnovare’s reputation and securing adoption with some of the world’s largest mining companies.

Together, Callum and Thomas gained first-hand insights into what it takes to successfully scale mining technologies, including:
